Associate Attorney needed for Tyler office

A law firm located in Tyler, TX is seeking an Associate Attorney with strong legal representation and litigation skills. The ideal candidate will be able to handle a diverse workload in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple projects, and provide sound legal advice. Experience in family law is highly preferred, and the candidate should have a strong ability to draft legal documents, offer legal counsel, and represent clients in court.

Duties:

• Manage a high volume of legal cases and provide representation in litigation.
• Prepare and draft pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Interpret laws and regulations to offer strategic legal advice and counsel.
• Represent clients in negotiations, hearings, and court proceedings.
• Provide legal advice in family law and other related areas.
• Prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Requirements:

• Licensed attorney or taking the bar exam (July).
• Ability to handle a heavy caseload and work efficiently in a pressured environment.
• Experience in family law is strongly preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to make quick, sound decisions in complex legal matters.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law (or taking the bar exam in July).
