Duties:

  • Manage personal injury case files from inception to completion.
  • Evaluate potential personal injury claims and offer legal counsel to prospective clients.
  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date case documentation using case management software.
  • Represent clients at mediations, trials, hearings, and depositions.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to legal assistants, paralegals, and support staff.
  • Negotiate settlements and favorable outcomes on behalf of clients when appropriate.
  • Communicate regularly with clients regarding case progress, medical treatments, and any other case-related matters.
  • Work closely with medical professionals to stay informed about client injuries and treatment plans.
  • Interact with insurance companies and defense attorneys for case updates and settlement discussions.
  • Conduct legal research, draft documents, and handle discovery procedures.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in personal injury law, with a proven track record of successful case outcomes.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
  • Exceptional legal research and writing abilities.
  • Experience handling a high-volume caseload.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Valid Bar membership and license to practice law in the state of Massachusetts.
