Job Overview:

Location:

Duties:

  • Represent employers and employees in employment litigation, including wage-and-hour claims, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation cases.

  • Provide legal advice and counseling on various employment law issues, including compliance with state and federal employment laws.

  • Conduct workplace investigations related to harassment, discrimination, and other employment-related issues.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop creative legal strategies and solutions to meet client needs.

  • Manage multiple tasks and priorities, while maintaining exceptional client service and responsiveness.

  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.

  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and hearings.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in employment law, with experience in employment litigation (defense or plaintiff side, or both preferred).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to develop creative solutions for complex issues.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines.

  • Exceptional written, verbal, and advocacy skills with a keen attention to detail.

  • Strong client service skills and the ability to maintain professional relationships.

  • A collaborative and team-oriented attitude with a proactive mindset.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from a nationally recognized law school.

  • Excellent academic credentials.

Certifications:

  • Admitted to the California State Bar in good standing.

  • Experience in employment litigation, wage-and-hour claims, and workplace investigations.

  • Strong legal writing and research skills.

  • Proficient in legal advocacy and negotiation.
