A law firm in Chicago, IL is seeking a Mid-Senior Level Health Care Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of experience in health care regulatory and/or transactional law. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of federal and state health care regulatory environments, strong document drafting skills, and the ability to manage complex projects. Experience with AmLaw 100 firms is preferred. Excellent academic credentials, effective communication skills, and a proactive attitude are essential for direct interaction with senior partners and clients.

Duties:

  • Advise and counsel health-care focused clients on federal and state health care regulatory issues affecting transactions and day-to-day business operations.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements and documents related to health care transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage and oversee complex projects and matters related to health care regulatory compliance and transactional work.
  • Mentor and supervise junior associates, providing guidance on legal matters and professional development.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support client advice and case strategies.
  • Maintain direct communication with senior partners and clients, providing updates and strategic recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-approved law school.
  • Admission to and active membership in the State Bar of Illinois.
  • 4-6 years of experience practicing health care regulatory and/or transactional law.
  • Comprehensive understanding of federal and state health care laws, regulations, and industry practices.
  • Proven track record in sophisticated document drafting and negotiation.
  • Exceptional academic credentials with strong writing and communication skills.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-approved law school.
  • Admission to and active membership in the State Bar of Illinois.
