Job Title: Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is currently seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join its team. Duties:

  • Represent clients at all stages of the foreclosure process, including contested foreclosures
  • Review all conditions necessary for initiating actions, such as loan documents, financials, and demand letters
  • Draft, review, and maintain legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence related to foreclosure actions
  • Conduct legal research and analysis of statutes, case law, regulations, and servicing requirements
  • Attend court hearings and liaise with opposing counsel
  • Ensure internal client systems are updated with findings, documentation, and recommendations
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards in all communications
  • Prioritize and manage a high volume of work to meet deadlines set by clients, courts, and investors
  • Adhere to compliance standards for local, state, and federal foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections requirements

Requirements:

  • Admission to the Delaware State Bar (newly barred attorneys are encouraged to apply)
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative
  • High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication abilities

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD)

Certifications:

  • Bar membership in Delaware

Skills:

  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office software
  • Familiarity with electronic case management and client systems (preferred)
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
