Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and support for mergers and acquisitions transactions.
• Draft and negotiate transaction documents such as purchase agreements and merger agreements.
• Conduct due diligence reviews.
• Assist in structuring and executing complex transactions.
• Advise clients on corporate governance matters related to mergers and acquisitions.
• Collaborate with partners and attorneys on various legal matters.
• Maintain and manage client relationships.
• Stay updated on relevant legal developments in mergers and acquisitions and private equity.

Requirements:

• JD from an accredited law school.
• 3-4 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and private equity in a major law firm.
• Membership in good standing with the CA State Bar.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly motivated and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Membership to the CA State Bar.
