Job Overview:

The Mid to Senior Level Litigation Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling complex litigation matters, including drafting briefs, arguing motions, conducting depositions, and trial preparation. The role also involves overseeing and mentoring junior associates and managing cases effectively.

Duties:

• Analyze, research, and draft briefs addressing sophisticated legal issues on complex litigation matters.
• Successfully argue motions in state and federal courts.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Prepare for trials, including witness preparation and evidence gathering.
• Provide strategic and analytical advice to clients.
• Oversee and mentor junior associates.
• Manage cases effectively, including coordinating with clients and opposing counsel.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a top law school.
• 3-6 years of experience in complex litigation.
• Admitted to the California State Bar and in good standing.
• Solid academic performance.
• Extensive experience in drafting briefs, arguing motions, and trial preparation.
• Ability to be strategic and analytical in approach.
• Experience overseeing and mentoring junior associates.
• Law Review experience preferred.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a top law school.

Certifications:

Admitted to the California State Bar and in good standing.
