Duties

• Handle a high-volume caseload of personal injury cases from intake to resolution.
• Conduct consultations with clients to provide legal advice and discuss case strategy.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies.
• Conduct depositions, and attend mediations, hearings, and trials as required.
• Collaborate with legal support staff to ensure efficient case management.
• Maintain consistent and professional communication with clients throughout their cases.
• Stay current on laws, regulations, and legal precedents relevant to personal injury practice.

Requirements

• Admission to the Florida State Bar in good standing.
• Minimum of 4+ years of litigation experience in personal injury law, preferably in a high-volume firm.
• Proven ability to successfully negotiate and settle cases.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines and caseloads effectively.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to ethical practice and client advocacy.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Florida State Bar admission (required).
