Job Overview:

Location:

Duties:

  • Manage written discovery processes and brief writing.
  • Take and/or prepare for depositions.
  • Handle all aspects of litigation, including pre-trial and trial preparation.
  • Provide strategic input and support to senior attorneys and clients.
  • Collaborate with the Intellectual Property and Technology group to ensure comprehensive litigation strategies.

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of litigation experience, with a focus on IP.
  • Proven experience in managing written discovery, drafting briefs, and taking depositions.
  • Self-motivated with strong analytical and legal research abilities.
  • Ability to work in a flexible and fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience at a regional or national law firm preferred.
  • Must be admitted to practice in Illinois or eligible for waiver.

Education:

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Excellent academic credentials.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Illinois Bar, or eligibility to waive in.

Skills:

  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Experience in litigation management, including discovery and deposition processes.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic legal environment.
