A law firm seeks an experienced immigration attorney to join its business immigration practice in Duluth, GA. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in immigration law and the opportunity to expand their experience with visa petitions, nonimmigrant filings, and correspondence with USCIS and foreign embassies. Duties:

  • Prepare and file immigration and visa petitions with USCIS.
  • Handle documentation for nonimmigrant visa applications.
  • Research and draft responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs) and legal briefs.
  • Communicate with USCIS and foreign embassies regarding immigration proceedings.
  • Draft letters and other documentation for ongoing immigration matters.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all case preparations and submissions.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active state bar license in good standing.
  • Excellent writing, research, and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail in case management and documentation.
  • Fluency in Korean is required for client communication.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Certifications:

  • Active State Bar License (Required).

Skills:

  • Expertise in immigration law, particularly business and employment-based immigration.
  • Strong written communication skills for drafting petitions, RFEs, and briefs.
