Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Actively utilize the firm’s case management and reporting software to manage assigned matters.
  • Handle court appearances and attend to some travel requirements.
  • Apply working knowledge of consumer credit collections, state laws in the licensed jurisdiction regarding consumer collections, and FDCPA regulations.
  • Exhibit a commitment to superior client care and proactive communication.
  • Collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Licensed attorney and member in good standing of the New Jersey Bar.
  • Strong working knowledge of consumer credit collections, state laws regarding consumer collections, and FDCPA.
  • Superior client care and proactive communication skills.
  • Ability to be a self-starter and work well in a collaborative environment.
  • Multi-state licensure is strongly preferred.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New Jersey Bar (required).
  • Additional state bar admissions (preferred).
