Litigation Attorney

Job Overview: A reputable law firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced Litigation Attorney to handle personal injury claims. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing cases from inception to settlement, ensuring clients receive exceptional legal representation.

Location:

• Los Angeles, California

Duties:

• Manage a high volume of personal injury cases.
• Conduct thorough case investigations to establish liability and damages.
• Draft and file necessary legal documents, including motions and pleadings.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
• Provide outstanding client service and maintain communication throughout the litigation process.
• Serve as First Chair in Civil Jury Trials.

Requirements:

• Lawyer in good standing in the state.
• Minimum of 7 years of personal injury experience, particularly in trial.
• At least 10 Civil Jury Trials completed to verdict.
• Strong knowledge of state laws and legal procedures.
• Proven ability to manage cases effectively and achieve positive outcomes.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active bar membership in the relevant state.

Skills:

• Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to draft and review legal documents.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proven team collaboration abilities.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
