Duties:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements, including tax equity financing, debt financing, M&A, EPC contracts, supply agreements, power purchase agreements, and other offtake agreements.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to develop effective strategies for project execution.
  • Manage components of deals independently, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and provide strategic insights on relevant laws and regulations.
  • Represent clients in negotiations and maintain strong relationships with various parties involved in projects.
  • Assist in business development efforts by participating in presentations and meetings with potential clients.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • 4-7 years of experience in project finance and development, particularly with renewable energy and infrastructure projects.
  • Admission to the New York State Bar and in good standing.

Skills:

  • Strong drafting and negotiating skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities.
  • Proficient in managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
