Job Duties:

  • Conduct legal research on case-specific issues using Lexis-Nexis, Westlaw, and other legal research tools.
  • Draft pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and other legal documents with precision.
  • Evaluate case facts to determine case value and develop legal strategies.
  • Negotiate settlements and litigate cases as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providers, and opposing counsel.
  • Manage and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain organized case files and documentation.
  • Follow standard legal procedures with great care and attention to detail.
  • Represent clients in court hearings and proceedings.
  • Stay updated on legal developments and procedural changes.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar association.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Insurance Defense.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw.
