The ideal candidate will have experience in handling personal injury cases, including litigation, negotiation, and trial work. This position offers an opportunity to work on complex cases, collaborate with seasoned legal professionals, and provide dedicated representation to clients. The role involves comprehensive case management from inception to conclusion.

Duties:

• Draft legal pleadings and related documents for litigation
• Prepare and respond to written discovery requests
• Take and defend depositions, including those of expert witnesses
• Represent clients in court hearings and argue motions before the judge
• Conduct in-depth legal research to support case strategy
• Prepare and argue law and motion matters in court
• Review and analyze medical records in consultation with medical experts
• Lead negotiations with insurance companies and lien holders
• Engage in mediation and settlement discussions
• Attend and participate in jury trials

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation
• Proven ability to manage litigation from start to finish, including trial experience
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Deep understanding of personal injury laws and regulations

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active California State Bar License in good standing
