A leading law firm in Sacramento is seeking a highly motivated Mid-Level Employment Law Associate Attorney with three or more years of experience in employment law. The role involves providing advice and counsel, as well as handling employment litigation matters. Ideal candidates will have experience in wage and hour class actions and PAGA litigation, although this is not required. Duties

  • Provide legal advice and counsel on employment law matters to clients.
  • Handle employment litigation, including defense of wage and hour claims, class actions, and PAGA litigation.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare for depositions, hearings, and trials.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and solutions for clients.
  • Maintain superior client service through consistent communication and legal expertise.

Requirements

  • A minimum of three years of experience in employment law.
  • Experience in employment litigation, with preferred but not required exposure to wage and hour class actions and PAGA litigation.
  • Strong work ethic and dedication to the practice of law.
  • Commitment to client service and excellence in legal practice.
  • Licensed to practice law in California.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic performance.

Certifications

  • Admitted to the California Bar.
