A law firm seeks a mid-level real estate attorney to join its Real Estate – Mid South group in Nashville, Tennessee. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to work on complex real estate matters, including acquisitions, leasing, divestitures, and development governance. The role emphasizes collaboration within a highly skilled team and provides significant opportunities for professional development.

Duties

  • Handle various real estate transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, leasing, and related agreements.
  • Draft and negotiate documents such as Purchase and Sale Agreements (PSAs), Reciprocal Easement Agreements (REAs), and development governance instruments.
  • Advise clients on real estate loans, borrower-side financing, and other related matters.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality work for clients, primarily focusing on end-users of real estate.
  • Provide detailed and precise legal documentation and advice, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3–4 years of experience in real estate law, including transactional work in acquisitions, leasing, and divestitures.
  • Demonstrated ability to draft and negotiate a wide range of real estate agreements.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • A hardworking, collaborative approach to legal practice.
  • Excellent writing, analytical, and drafting skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the Tennessee Bar or eligibility to obtain licensure promptly.
