Duties:

  • Represent clients in employment-related legal matters, including but not limited to discrimination, harassment, wage & hour disputes, and employment contract cases.
  • Develop legal strategies and draft pleadings for various employment litigation matters.
  • Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and handle courtroom proceedings.
  • Provide legal counsel to clients on workplace law issues, including employee relations, workplace accommodations (ADA), employment agreements, reductions-in-force, and policies related to employment law.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and work independently when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Admitted to and in good standing with the New York Bar.
  • Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in employment litigation.
  • Familiarity with federal and state employment statutes.
  • Strong litigation skills with the ability to manage a diverse caseload.
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admitted to the New York Bar and in good standing.

Skills:

  • Employment litigation expertise.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Proven ability to handle depositions, motions, and legal strategy development.
  • Ability to provide workplace law advice to clients.
