Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm seeks a skilled attorney with a minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial leasing to enhance its Real Estate Group. This role is perfect for those looking to make a significant impact within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Duties:

  • Draft and negotiate commercial leases and related agreements (e.g., term sheets, letters of intent, work letters, SNDAs).
  • Interact with clients, opposing counsel, brokers, and other relevant parties.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with various stakeholders.
  • Produce deliverables and respond to correspondence efficiently.
  • Meet deadlines and maintain high-quality work.
  • Build and maintain positive professional relationships.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in necessary physical and sedentary activities, including prolonged computer work and virtual meetings.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
  • Admitted to practice in California.
  • At least 3 years of experience in drafting and negotiating commercial leases and related agreements.

Education:

  • JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active California Bar membership.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the commercial leasing market and "market" standards for various leases.
  • Experience with diverse property types (office, retail, industrial, life sciences).
  • Substantial representation experience for landlords.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and negotiating abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work both collaboratively and independently.
  • Proficient problem-solving skills.
