Job Title: Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A respected Philadelphia-based law firm is actively seeking an accomplished litigation attorney with significant first-chair trial experience to join its personal injury division. The ideal candidate will take a hands-on approach to managing complex injury cases, from intake through trial. This opportunity is perfect for a trial lawyer who values autonomy, client advocacy, and delivering results through strategic litigation. Duties:

  • Manage a docket of personal injury litigation matters from inception through resolution or trial

  • Conduct in-depth client consultations and maintain consistent client communication

  • Strategically evaluate claims and develop tailored litigation strategies

  • Prepare legal pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence

  • Represent clients in court at hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials

  • Negotiate settlements and engage in meaningful dialogue with opposing counsel and insurers

  • Supervise case progression and coordinate with support teams and paralegals

  • Maintain accurate documentation and case files in compliance with internal standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience handling civil litigation, with a focus on personal injury cases

  • Proven success as lead counsel in jury trials

  • Deep understanding of trial preparation and courtroom procedure

  • Admitted to the State Bar in Pennsylvania and in good standing

  • Bilingual proficiency (Spanish/English) is advantageous but not required

  • Demonstrated ability to manage cases independently and make informed legal decisions

  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities

  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure

  • Strong ethical standards and a commitment to zealous client representation

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Pennsylvania State Bar
