Associate Attorney - Civil and Commercial Litigation

A law firm seeks a dedicated Associate Attorney to join its Civil Litigation team in Miami, FL. This hybrid role offers an opportunity to handle a variety of civil and commercial litigation matters, requiring strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Spanish fluency is preferred to better serve a diverse client base.

Duties

• Conduct legal research and draft responses, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Respond to discovery requests and manage discovery processes.
• Conduct and defend depositions to support case strategy.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Collaborate with team members to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes.

Requirements

• Active Florida State Bar license.
• Federal court admission in Florida is strongly preferred.
• Strong work ethic, with a proactive and responsible approach to case management.
• High proficiency in research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Florida.

• Spanish fluency (speaking, reading, and writing) is strongly preferred.
