A law firm in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a Bilingual Entry-level General Practice Litigation Attorney to handle a diverse caseload encompassing family/civil, immigration, and criminal legal matters. The successful candidate will provide legal counsel and representation to clients, focusing on litigation expertise. Fluency in Spanish is required for effective communication with clients.

Duties:

  • Manage a caseload covering family/civil, immigration, and criminal legal matters.
  • Provide legal advice and representation to clients in hearings and court proceedings.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Admission to the PA and NJ Bar associations is required.
  • PA Bar admission must be obtained upon hire; NJ Bar admission may be pending or open to waive in.
  • Fluency in Spanish, both written and verbal.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in family, immigration, criminal, and/or civil litigation.
  • An Immigration Bar card is a plus.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Pennsylvania (PA) and New Jersey (NJ) Bar associations.

Skills:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
  • Legal research and analytical skills.
  • Drafting of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
