Duties:

  • Represent private equity sponsors in financing transactions.
  • Handle syndicated financing and acquisition financing transactions.
  • Oversee and close various financing transactions.
  • Draft documents related to financial transactions.
  • Utilize knowledge of Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code for secured transactions.
  • Engage in debt securities offerings and general corporate law as needed.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in financing transactions involving private equity sponsors.
  • Proficiency in syndicated financing, acquisition financing, and transaction closing processes.
  • Familiarity with drafting documents for financial transactions.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from a nationally recognized law school.
  • Demonstrated high academic achievement.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Bar in New York or eligibility for admission.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of secured transactions, including Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code.
  • Knowledge of debt securities offerings and general corporate law.
  • Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
