Duties:

• Represent clients in commercial litigation and professional liability cases, ensuring the protection of their interests.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Research case law, statutes, and regulations relevant to cases handled.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and trials to represent clients.
• Communicate directly with clients to provide legal advice, updates, and counsel on case strategy.
• Collaborate with colleagues and senior attorneys to develop case strategies and share knowledge.
• Maintain thorough documentation of case files and correspondence.
• Contribute to business development efforts and client relations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial litigation and/or professional liability.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to handle a heavy caseload and work independently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented and organized with excellent time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Louisiana State Bar.
