Job Title: Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A distinguished law firm based in Dallas, TX is seeking a motivated Litigation Associate Attorney. This role requires a candidate with substantial experience in civil litigation, particularly in handling business disputes, personal injury claims, product liability cases, construction disputes, and other significant injury-related matters. The firm is looking for a skilled attorney to support its legal team in providing exceptional legal counsel to clients across various complex cases.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in business disputes, personal injury, product liability, construction disputes, and catastrophic injury cases.
  • Manage all stages of litigation including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
  • Draft, file, and argue motions in court.
  • Attend court conferences, hearings, and depositions.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and draft comprehensive legal documents.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to develop case strategies and solutions.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience.
  • Proven track record in handling business disputes, personal injury, product liability, and construction cases.
  • Experience in taking depositions, attending court conferences, and preparing motions.
  • Strong ability to conduct legal research and write legal briefs and memoranda.
  • Trial and deposition experience is highly desirable.
  • Must be an active member of the Texas Bar.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.

Skills:

  • Strong litigation and advocacy skills.
  • Excellent legal research and writing capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients and colleagues.
