The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Physics and possess robust experience in patent application preparation and prosecution. The role requires at least 2 years of patent prosecution experience, with a strong background in wireless telecommunication standards, signal processing, or computer networking.

Duties:

  • Draft, file, and prosecute patent applications, including claims, specifications, and responses to office actions.
  • Conduct detailed technical evaluations in the fields of wireless telecommunication standards, signal processing, and computer networking.
  • Perform prior art searches and provide comprehensive assessments of patentability and potential infringement issues.
  • Work closely with inventors, clients, and legal teams to develop effective patent strategies and ensure the protection of intellectual property.
  • Prepare and review patent-related documentation and correspondence with accuracy.
  • Stay informed about changes in patent laws, industry trends, and technological advancements to provide expert advice.
  • Assist in patent litigation and intellectual property disputes by offering technical support and analysis.
  • Manage multiple patent projects efficiently, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality work standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in patent prosecution.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Physics.
  • Proven experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications.
  • Technical expertise in wireless telecommunication standards, signal processing, or computer networking.
  • Strong analytical and research abilities with attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Physics.

Certifications:

  • Registration with the USPTO required.
