Duties:

• Handle various immigration cases, including CP/Waiver cases such as I-130, I-601A, I-212, I-601, consular processing, and K-Visa applications.
• Guide clients through their consulate interviews and provide thorough preparation.
• Represent clients before USCIS in immigration matters.
• Review immigration applications and prepare packets for submission.
• Oversee and support a team of paralegals to ensure deadlines and client expectations are met.
• Conduct legal analysis to identify case benefits for clients.
• Draft and submit legal briefs for a range of immigration-related cases.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-4 years of experience in immigration law.
• Proven ability to manage a caseload and move legal cases forward efficiently.
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to collaborate and support colleagues.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Fluency in English; and Spanish language skills are preferred.
• Familiarity with consular processing applications and waivers.
• Experience using case management software is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar admission in good standing in the state of Texas.

Certifications:

• Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.
