Job Overview:
A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Construction Labor Law Litigation Of Counsel or Partner to join its growing team in New York City. Location:

Duties:

• Handle litigation matters from inception to trial, including New York Labor Law, general liability, premises liability, and municipal liability
• Prepare pleadings, briefs, and legal documents
• Manage discovery, depositions, and conduct legal research and analysis
• Provide guidance and strategic legal counsel to clients
• Collaborate with other attorneys and clients to develop effective litigation strategies
• Handle complex legal issues with a focus on providing practical solutions
• Mentor junior attorneys and support business development initiatives

Requirements:

• JD degree from an accredited law school
• Minimum of five years of general litigation experience
• Experience with New York Labor Law is preferred
• Ability to handle complex litigation matters from inception to trial
• Strong research, writing, and legal analysis skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Current New York Bar admission in good standing

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in New York
