Senior Leasing Attorney

Job Overview: An established law firm is seeking a Senior Leasing Attorney with a minimum of eight years of experience in handling commercial leases to join its Real Estate Group. 

Location:

• Boston, MA

Duties:

• Act as the lead attorney in drafting and negotiating commercial leases and related agreements, such as term sheets, letters of intent, work letters, and SNDAs.
• Supervise less experienced leasing attorneys.
• Interact directly with clients, opposing counsel, brokers, and other relevant parties.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in drafting and negotiating commercial leases and related agreements.
• Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction of application.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications:

• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills:

• Comprehensive understanding of the commercial leasing market.
• Experience with various property types, including office, retail, industrial, and life sciences.
• Strong representation of landlords.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to understand clients’ business objectives and produce work efficiently.
• Strong negotiating, analytical, and writing skills.
• Attention to detail and good business judgment.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work both collaboratively and independently.
