Job Title: Real Estate Attorney - Investment Funds Group

Job Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid position)

Job Overview:
A well-regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney to join its Investment Funds Group. This position offers an opportunity to work on a variety of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financings. The role requires a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in real estate law and familiarity with securities offerings is a plus. This is a non-partnership track role and offers flexibility with full-time or part-time options.

Duties:

  • Handle complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financings
  • Provide legal advice and strategy related to real estate investments
  • Work on securities offerings in connection with real estate transactions (experience beneficial)
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements related to real estate transactions
  • Conduct legal research and prepare reports on regulatory matters
  • Collaborate with clients, other attorneys, and business professionals to achieve optimal solutions
  • Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and client expectations
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all legal matters and correspondence
  • Support clients in achieving their investment objectives through legal strategies
  • Participate in firm meetings, client calls, and other professional development opportunities

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of substantive experience in real estate law
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated communication and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice in Georgia (GA)

  • Proficient in legal research, analysis, and drafting

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
