Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate to join its Real Estate practice group in Boston. The ideal candidate will have broad transactional real estate experience, particularly with purchase and sale agreements, property management agreements, and leasing agreements. The firm is looking for an individual with a high level of academic achievement, strong research, writing, and communication skills, and the drive to contribute to the growth and success of the practice.

Duties:

  • Draft and review various real estate transactional documents, including purchase and sale agreements, property management agreements, and leasing agreements
  • Assist in joint venture transactions and borrower-side financing matters
  • Work on a wide range of real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and execute strategies for complex real estate transactions
  • Cultivate and manage client relationships, providing high-quality legal advice
  • Conduct legal research and provide recommendations based on findings
  • Participate in negotiations and deal closings

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in transactional real estate law
  • Strong experience with purchase and sale agreements, property management agreements, and leasing agreements
  • Joint venture and borrower-side financing experience preferred
  • Ability to navigate complex real estate transactions efficiently
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and business development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong research and analytical abilities
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Education:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Massachusetts Bar is required
