Job Overview:
A well-established family law firm is seeking a Family Law Attorney with 2-5 years of experience to provide exceptional legal representation for clients navigating family law matters such as divorce, custody, adoption, terminations, enforcements, and protective orders. This role offers an opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment, helping clients through some of the most challenging moments in their lives. The ideal candidate will be an empathetic advocate for clients while having the skill and confidence to handle complex family law cases.

Location:

Duties:

  • Provide legal representation for family law cases, including divorce, custody disputes, adoption, termination, enforcements, and protective orders.
  • Manage cases independently and handle all aspects of family law litigation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court system.
  • Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trial settings.
  • Offer compassionate support and clear advice to clients during challenging personal situations.
  • Maintain up-to-date case files and manage deadlines effectively.
  • Contribute to firm growth by providing high-quality legal services and client support.

Requirements:

  • Active member of the Texas State Bar.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in family law practice.
  • Strong experience handling divorce, custody, adoption, termination, and protective order cases.
  • Proven ability to manage and independently handle family law litigation.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.

Skills:

  • Strong trial and litigation skills, particularly in family law.
  • Ability to manage a high caseload and work independently.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Texas family law and related legal practices.
