Pre-litigation Attorney

A law firm seeks a dedicated and compassionate Pre-Litigation Attorney to join their growing team in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will be integral to ensuring clients receive the highest level of care and legal representation before the litigation process begins. You will have the opportunity to work directly with clients, guide them through the claims process, and handle the early stages of personal injury and property damage cases.

Duties

• Meet with clients to understand their cases, provide updates, and ensure they are informed throughout the process.
• Evaluate claims, assess damages, and advise clients on potential outcomes.
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status, offers, and demands.
• Demonstrate empathy, build trust with clients, and maintain strong professional relationships.
• Assist in negotiating settlements and handling pre-litigation tasks.
• Work collaboratively with other attorneys and staff to ensure the best outcomes for clients.

Requirements

• Full-time availability.
• Active member of the Georgia Bar, or willingness to obtain Georgia Bar admission.
• Experience evaluating personal injury and property damage claims.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to advocate for clients effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate and work well in a dynamic environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Georgia Bar, or the ability to obtain membership upon hire.
