Job Overview:

A reputable law firm is seeking a motivated and skilled Associate Attorney to join their Harrisburg, PA office. This position will support the firm's growing Real Estate, Business and Corporate, and Trusts and Estates practice groups. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of legal matters and focus on specific areas of law as their career progresses.

Location:

  • Harrisburg, PA

Duties:

  • Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, leases, wills, trusts, and corporate governance documents
  • Conduct due diligence investigations and analyze findings
  • Work with governmental agencies to secure necessary development approvals
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and team members to develop legal strategies
  • Provide clear and concise legal advice to clients
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and provide client guidance
  • Stay informed on legal trends, legislative changes, and relevant case law

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admitted to and in good standing with the Pennsylvania State Bar
  • 3-6 years of experience practicing transactional law, with preferred experience in real estate and trusts and estates
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Pennsylvania State Bar

Skills:

  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills in transactional matters
  • Proficiency in legal research and case analysis
