Personal Injury Attorney

A law firm seeks a full-time personal injury attorney with 3 to 5 years of experience to join its team. The ideal candidate will handle personal injury cases from intake to trial, primarily focusing on automobile cases. This position requires in-person court appearances as needed, but also offers the flexibility of a hybrid work environment. The candidate should have a positive demeanor and the ability to thrive in a team-based setting.

Duties:

• Manage personal injury cases, particularly automobile accident claims, from intake to trial.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal documents for litigation.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials as required.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to provide comprehensive legal representation.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal strategies for cases.
• Maintain client communication, providing regular updates on case progress.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury law, particularly in handling automobile accident cases.
• Strong litigation skills, including experience in court appearances and trial preparation.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative legal team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a positive and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in New York, in good standing.
