Associate Attorney needed for Los Angeles office

A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, specializing in personal injury law, seeks an Associate Attorney to join their busy team. The attorney will represent plaintiffs and must be adept at working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties:

• Assist in managing a caseload of plaintiff personal injury matters.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials as necessary.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and paralegals to effectively manage cases.
• Maintain case files and update clients on case progress.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar and in good standing.
• 1-3 years of experience in personal injury law preferred, but not required.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.
