Senior Litigation Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, seeks a Senior Litigation Attorney to manage and oversee complex litigation matters. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional legal skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Duties:

• Reviewing and drafting discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda
• Effectively communicating, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties
• Producing high-quality work products within specified deadlines
• Maintaining positive work relationships and adhering to firm policies
• Engaging in both physical and sedentary activities, including extended computer work and virtual meetings
• Performing additional duties, tasks, or projects as assigned

Requirements:

• 6 years of experience in litigation
• Proven experience drafting litigation documents, including motions to dismiss, written discovery, and summary judgment motions
• Strong analytical and writing skills with attention to detail
• Demonstrated business judgment and excellent organizational abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Research, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking abilities
• Persuasive communication and influencing skills
• Strong project management capabilities

Education and Certifications:

• JD degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the California Bar is required
