Location:

Duties:

• Represent insurance companies in various civil litigation matters, including personal injury, property damage, contract disputes, negligent security, and liquor liability.
• Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to develop and execute litigation strategies.
• Manage cases from initial preparation through trial, ensuring that deadlines are met and high standards of legal work are maintained.
• Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring effective communication and client satisfaction.
• Demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills in managing a full caseload.
• Stay updated on legal developments and trends in insurance defense.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in insurance defense, including trial experience
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to thrive under pressure and manage a high volume of cases

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Pennsylvania
