Energy Associate Attorney

A law firm in The Woodlands is seeking an Energy Associate Attorney with 0-5 years of experience for its energy mineral title and division order practice. The ideal candidate should have experience commensurate with time in practice and possess strong interpersonal skills to interact with clients and legal teams.

Duties:

• Handle legal matters related to energy mineral title and division order practice.
• Conduct title examination and analysis in the energy sector.
• Draft legal documents such as title opinions, leases, and contracts.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on energy-related matters.
• Communicate effectively with clients and legal teams.
• Research and analyze legal issues pertaining to energy law.
• Assist with negotiations and settlements.

Requirements:

• 0-5 years of experience practicing law, preferably in the energy sector.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and legal teams.
• Strong academic record.
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with clients and colleagues.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Relevant certifications related to energy law (if applicable).

Skills:

• Property and mineral title experience in the energy sector (preferred).
• Legal research and analysis.
