A law firm seeks a dedicated and skilled real estate attorney to join its team in Martinsburg, WV. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of real estate matters, including residential and commercial transactions, title insurance, land use, and development. Duties:

  • Handle residential and commercial real estate closings, from initial stages to post-closing.
  • Manage diverse real estate matters, including:
    • Residential and commercial property transactions.
    • Title insurance reviews and preparation.
    • Land use, development, and zoning matters.
    • Lender transactions, private transactions, foreclosures, and refinances.
  • Provide strategic legal advice and solutions to clients in real estate-related matters.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver exceptional client service.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in residential and commercial real estate transactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage real estate matters.
  • Strong analytical, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to obtain a license to practice law in West Virginia if not already licensed.
  • Ability to pass required background screening, including criminal checks.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active law license in any U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Willingness to become licensed in West Virginia promptly.

Skills:

  • Expertise in handling real estate closings and transactions.
