Defense Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks a motivated Defense Litigation Associate Attorney to join its expanding team in New York. This position will involve managing a caseload of complex litigation matters, including personal injury, medical malpractice, and insurance defense cases. The successful candidate will handle own files and collaborate with a senior attorney to devise litigation strategies and ensure top-notch client service. Duties:

• Manage complex litigation cases from inception to trial or settlement.
• Conduct thorough legal research and provide insightful guidance to clients on legal issues.
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.

• Negotiate settlements and engage in alternative dispute resolution processes, including mediation and arbitration.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York Bar.
