Duties:

• Advise clients on compliance with ITAR, EAR, and OFAC Sanctions Programs.
• Handle transactions involving controlled technologies and international trade regulations.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support regulatory compliance.
• Draft and review legal documents related to international trade and corporate transactions.
• Represent clients in regulatory matters and assist with obtaining necessary licenses and approvals.
• Stay updated on changes in international trade laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in corporate transactions, with a focus on international trade regulation.
• Excellent academic credentials and strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Licensed and in good standing in Michigan, or eligible for admission by examination or waiver.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Bar license in Michigan, or eligibility for admission.

Skills:

• Expertise in ITAR, EAR, and OFAC Sanctions Programs.
• Proficiency in navigating international trade regulations and compliance issues.
