A law firm seeks a Senior Private Equity Finance Associate Attorney with substantial experience in private credit, acquisition finance, or leveraged finance to join its thriving Private Equity Finance practice in Los Angeles. This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney looking to work in a high-growth, collaborative environment while handling complex financial transactions with corporate borrowers and private equity sponsors.

Duties:

  • Represent corporate borrowers, private equity sponsors, and their portfolio companies in a variety of finance transactions.
  • Lead and manage mid-cap and top-tier transactions related to acquisition finance, private credit, and leveraged finance.
  • Collaborate closely with a dynamic team to draft, negotiate, and finalize critical finance-related legal documents.
  • Provide strategic counsel to private equity sponsors on complex financing matters, ensuring transactions align with client goals.
  • Safeguard the confidentiality of sensitive, privileged, and proprietary information, in line with firm policies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in private credit, acquisition finance, or leveraged finance.
  • Strong background in borrower-side representation, with a preference for candidates experienced in working with private equity sponsors.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume, complex finance transactions.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in California or eligible for admission.

Skills:

  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills for client management.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-stakes transactions in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
