Duties

• Conduct legal research, draft motions, pleadings, and briefs, and represent clients in court hearings and depositions.

• Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and legal advice.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and other alternative dispute resolution processes.
• Manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist with the growth and reputation of the firm by maintaining high standards of professionalism and client service.

Requirements

• 1-5 years of litigation experience (civil defense preferred).
• Licensed to practice law in South Carolina.
• Strong written and verbal advocacy skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
