A law firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to join its outgoing and fast-paced team in Detroit. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of litigation, handling complex matters, including product liability. The role requires a proactive individual who brings an entrepreneurial spirit to a growing office.

Duties:
• Draft and argue discovery and other motions.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Manage document productions.
• Lead case management efforts.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop litigation strategies.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court and during pre-trial proceedings.
• Negotiate settlements and communicate with opposing counsel.
• Provide clients with legal advice and updates on case status.

Requirements:
• 9 years of meaningful experience in complex litigation matters, including product liability.
• Experience working in a mid-size or large law firm setting.
• Strong oral and written advocacy skills.
• Exceptional academic credentials.
• Admitted to and in good standing with the State Bar.
• Ability to take initiative and lead case management efforts.

Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
Licensed to practice law in the State Bar.
