A law firm is seeking a Senior Transactional Attorney II for their Kennewick office.

 

Job Overview:

The Senior Transactional Attorney II will be responsible for providing legal counsel, representing clients in various legal proceedings, and contributing to the firm's growth and reputation through effective marketing and client engagement strategies.

 

Duties:

  • Demonstrating a successful record of mediation experience and significant trial experience.
  • Researching and analyzing the law on complex legal issues.
  • Drafting memorandums, briefs, letters, and other legal documents.
  • Marketing personal and firm services to prospective clients.
  • Performing discovery of electronically stored data and hard copies of information in preparation for litigation.
  • Conducting due diligence in all legal matters.
  • Managing a schedule to accommodate consultations and meet production/collection objectives.
  • Achieving closure of consultations within a specified range.
  • Timely approval of invoices to ensure the health of the business.
  • Maximizing the productivity of support staff.
  • Updating case management systems accurately and promptly.
  • Actively engaging in brand expansion through various channels.
  • Seeking positive feedback and reviews from satisfied clients.
  • Performing other job-related duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of law practice experience with a client book.
  • Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school.
  • Admission (or eligibility for reciprocal admission) to the bar in the state of practice.
