Duties

  • Assist in all phases of litigation, from pre-trial preparation through post-trial motions.
  • Draft, review, and revise legal documents including motions, pleadings, and discovery.
  • Maintain direct communication with clients, insurance adjusters, experts, and opposing counsel.
  • Conduct legal research and analyze issues pertinent to ongoing litigation.
  • Attend court hearings and assist in trial preparation.
  • Represent clients in court, advocating effectively to achieve favorable case outcomes.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • 0-5 years of litigation experience; experience in insurance defense is a plus but not required.
  • Strong research, writing, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Admission to the State Bar of New York.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
