Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Atlanta, Georgia office. Duties

• Handle all phases of litigation, including case preparation, discovery, depositions, motions, and trial work.
• Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
• Work closely with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies and implement solutions.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, motions, and other correspondence.
• Maintain communication with clients, keeping them informed of case developments and advising them on legal matters.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys to share insights, research, and strategies.
• Manage caseload efficiently, ensuring deadlines and client needs are met promptly.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of litigation experience.
• Strong background in civil litigation, with a proven ability to manage cases independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to think critically, make strategic decisions, and navigate complex legal matters.
• Experience working with case management software and other legal technologies.
• Ability to work well within a team, as well as independently.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Education

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the Georgia State Bar, with authorization to practice in Georgia.
