A law firm in Westborough, MA is seeking a Junior Labor and Employment Attorney to handle a diverse range of labor, employment, and human resources-related matters. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills, and will be responsible for legal research, document drafting, and client advisories.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research on labor and employment law issues.
  • Draft legal memoranda, court documents, briefs, and client advice letters.
  • Advise public and private-sector employers on a broad range of labor, employment, and human resources matters.
  • Assist with collective bargaining and grievance arbitrations.
  • Support public sector education law matters, including policy drafting, administrative hearings, student rights, and other education-related issues.

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and interact effectively with clients to address legal concerns and provide strategic advice.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Excellent analytical, drafting, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with clients and manage client relationships.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Massachusetts Bar (required).

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.
