Duties:

  • Handle a variety of family law cases, including divorce, custody, support, and other related matters.
  • Provide compassionate and effective legal representation, making a meaningful impact on clients' lives.
  • Work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing complex cases and legal procedures.
  • Prepare legal documents, negotiate settlements, and provide strategic legal advice to clients.
  • Represent clients in court and attend case-related proceedings.
  • Collaborate with team members, maintaining open communication and contributing to the firm's success.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and team members to ensure case details are handled effectively.
  • Manage a caseload and meet deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing family law.
  • Active admission and good standing with the Texas State Bar.
  • Proven excellence in legal writing, with writing samples that demonstrate clarity and persuasiveness.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, able to articulate legal concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in case preparation, documentation, and courtroom presentations.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing tasks in a fast-paced legal environment.
  • Client-focused mindset, dedicated to delivering excellent service and building positive client relationships.
  • Strong professional references attesting to legal expertise, professionalism, and work ethic.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in good standing with the Texas State Bar.

  • Strong legal research and analytical skills, with the ability to apply complex laws to specific cases.
